Most startup tales are told after the fact, allowing those who tell the story to neatly trace the turning points that ultimately led to the success or failure of the business.
This is not one of those tales. I can’t tell you if what we’re doing will lead us to success or failure. One year in and 300,000 products sold, we seem to be off to a good start. But what the hell do I know? I’ve never taken a business from zero to one before, and our journey is still just getting started.
